Seven Layer Taco Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced (or a sprinkling of garlic salt)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Tapatio hot sauce (or hot sauce of your choice), to taste (I like about 2 teaspoons of Tapatio -- this really adds a great flavor!!)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 large head iceberg lettuce, shredded or chopped
  • 2 cups torn fresh spinach leaves, optional
  • 2 cups Fritos (or other small yellow corn chips)
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups fresh diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced black olives (drained)
  • sour cream, for serving
Seven Layer Taco Instructions:

1. First of all brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain well and return to pan.
2. And then add water, paprika, chili powder, cumin, pepper, salt, hot sauce, and beans. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until hot.
3. Next is to mix lettuce and spinach together.
4. To serve salad, layer each platter or plate with a thick layer of the lettuce mixture. The seven layer taco is ready ...enjoy it !

Seven Layer Taco Casserole Ingredients:

* 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
* 2 to 4 drops Tabasco sauce
* 15 oz. can tomato sauce
* 1 tsp. chili powder
* 1 cup frozen corn
* 2 (16 oz.) cans chili with beans
* 3/4 lb. grated cheese
* nacho cheese tortilla chips

Seven layer Taco Casserole Instructions
Brown ground meat; drain well. Add onion, garlic and pepper and cook until transparent. Add remaining Tabasco, tomato sauce, and chili powder. Grease Crock Pot and layer in 5 layers, beginning with meat mixture and nacho cheese tortilla chips, then the corn, chili, and grated cheese. Cover and cook 6 to 8 hours on low....enjoy it !

Seven Layer Taco Casserole Ingredients:

* 1 cup uncooked rice, washed and drained
* 1 cup whole kernel corn, drained
* dash salt and pepper
* 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
* 3/4 to 1 pound extra lean ground beef, uncooked and broken up
* dash salt and pepper
* 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
* 4 strips bacon, cut in half
* shredded cheese, if desired for topping

Seven Layer Taco Casserole Instructions:
Place ingredients in a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole in order given. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover and cook 30 minutes longer, until bacon is crisp. If desired, top with shredded cheese the last 10 to 15 minutes. The Seven layer taco casserole is ready to serves 4 person...nice ! Enjoy it !

A nice seven layer taco casserole recipe...try this one !
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 pound ground beef, thawed
  • 2 dollops of sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup thick taco sauce
  • 1/2 cup ripe olives, drained, divided
  • 1.25 ounces taco seasoning
  • 12 taco shells, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Diced tomatoes with mild chiles

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 375ยบ F. Brown beef with onion and garlic, adding sour cream in a pan. Add water, taco sauce, seasonings, chiles, and 1/4 cup olives. Simmer for 3 minutes. In a large casserole dish, place a thick layer of broken taco shells.
Place a layer of meat on top, then layer on 1 cup of cheese.
Repeat these three layers again. Bake for 20 minutes.
Place leftover vegetables on top. The seven layer taco casserole is ready to serve...nice one !

INGREDIENTS
  • refried beans
  • a pound of cooked meat
  • chicken or beef (shredded or ground)
  • a large chopped onion,
  • 3 minced garlic cloves,
  • 3 finely diced tomatoes,
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • one teaspoon of oregano,
  • store bought salsa,
  • 1/2 bunch of finely chopped cilantro,
  • 2 mashed ripe avocados,
  • 1/2 large lemon,
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder,
  • Salt & Pepper,
  • 3 cups tortilla strips or broken up taco shells,
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese and some sour cream.

INSTRUCTIONS
You need to make the guacamole first by placing the mashed avocados in a bowl. Squeeze the lemon in there and mix in the remaining tomato, garlic powder, half the cilantro and half the onions. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper. We’re just going to layer everything starting with the beans, then the meat, oregano, tomatoes, onion, garlic, salsa, and cilantro, then top with the chips then the cheese. Bake it for 20 minutes. In a casserole dish place a thick layer of broken taco shells. Place a layer of meat over this layer and above this place one cup of cheese. Repeat these three layers again one above the other. Bake for about 20 minutes and then add the left out vegetables on top of them. Your seven layer taco casserole is ready.Enjoy it with friends....!!

Another seven layer taco casserole recipe to try ....nice one !
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 16. oz. can refried beans
  • 1 pound chuck meat cut for carne asada, finely cubed (you can use ground beef if you want)
  • 1 large white onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tomatoes, finely diced
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/2 cup store bought salsa
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 ripe avocados, mashed
  • 1/2 large lemon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 3 cups tortilla strips or broken up taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese
  • Sour cream

INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE MEAT:
Heat a skillet with olive oil. Add the meat, all but 2 tablespoons onions and garlic. Mix well and cook for about ten minutes until meat is cooked through. Discard any liquid that might be rendered. Add the cumin, oregano and 2 of the tomatoes. Cook for another seven to ten minutes. Add 1/2 cup salsa and mix well. Add 1/2 of the cilantro. Remove from heat.

FOR THE GUACAMOLE:
Place the mashed avocados in a bowl. Squeeze the lemon on the avocados, removing any seeds that could fall in the bowl. Mix in the remaining tomato, garlic powder, remaining cilantro and remaining onions. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread a layer of beans at the bottom. Add the meat. Add the chips. Spread the salsa over the chips. Top with the cheese. Place the casserole dish in to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese melts and the meat is bubbling.
The seven layer taco casserole recipe is ready to serve and top with guacamole and sour cream. Seven layers of delicious food!
